Call for solidarity for women in detention

We are preparing a special outreach to the women at Kondengui Central Prison, focusing on restoring dignity and care for those often overlooked. This initiative includes the distribution of essential hygiene items, such as sanitary pads, and serves as a reminder that compassion has no boundaries—not even walls.

By supporting incarcerated women, we reaffirm our belief that every person deserves respect, humanity, and hope, regardless of their situation. This project is a continuation of our mission to uplift vulnerable individuals and stand for inclusion and human dignity.

About the project

Starting point

This initiative began after learning about the difficult living conditions faced by women at Kondengui Central Prison, particularly the lack of access to basic hygiene products. Moved by their needs and the desire to restore dignity, we decided to act by organizing a visit focused on support and solidarity.

community involvement

This project is made possible through the generosity and collaboration of our community, including donors, volunteers, and local partners. Their support helps us gather essential items and deliver a message of care and solidarity to the women at Kondengui Central Prison.

End result

Through this visit, we were able to:

  • Distribute essential hygiene items, including sanitary pads

  • Offer emotional support and a message of hope and solidarity

  • Highlight the importance of dignity and care for incarcerated women

This initiative strengthened our commitment to supporting vulnerable and often forgotten individuals, ensuring they are seen, heard, and valued.
